MONTISOLA: THE QUEEN OF THE LAKE ISEO
This lake island is the largest in Europe and it is characterized by a wide biodiversity and by two fascinating paths. The first path is a trekking which leads from Peschiera Maraglio up to the Shrine of Madonna della Ceriola, crossing the village Cure, in order to get to the church where the visitor can enjoy breathtaking 360-degree view of the lake. The second path is more related to the cultural and economic traditions of the island: the production of fishing nets and the construction of lake wooden boats. The day will end with the “olive-tree walk” along the lake coast at sunset.
